Where the Denizens of Deadwood landed

Ian McShane, Timothy Olyphant, Molly Parker and the rest kept busy after the HBO series ended.

Deadwood has been off the air for nearly a decade, but the HBO series’ stellar group of actors moved on to do great work after. Here’s a look at what key cast members have added to their resumés and where they are today:

Timothy Olyphant (Sheriff Seth Bullock)
The heartthrob actor starred in FX’s Justified from 2010-15, and has made appearances in NBC’s The Office and movies, including A Perfect Getaway and This Is Where I Leave You. The 47-year-old will appear in Oliver Stone’s 2016 movie on U.S. political whistleblower Edward Snowden.

Ian McShane (Al Swearengen)
One of Britain’s most celebrated actors, the 73-year-old has starred in films including Death Race, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Snow White & The Huntsman and John Wick, as well as a season of Showtime’s Ray Donovan. He’s been cast in Season 6 of Game of Thrones.

Molly Parker (Alma Garret)
The B.C.-born Parker currently co-stars with Kevin Spacey in Netflix’s hit House of Cards. She’s also appeared in TV series The Firm and Dexter as well as films, including The Road. She’s slated to be seen later this year in American Pastoral, the first film directed by Trainspotting star Ewan McGregor.

Paula Malcolmson (Trixie)
The Irish actress has done movies, including The Hunger Games trilogy, and made numerous TV appearances, including ER, the Battlestar Galactica spinoff Caprica, Sons of Anarchy and Fringe. Currently, she’s one of the stars of Ray Donovan.

Anna Gunn (Martha Bullock)
Gunn established herself as a household name playing Skyler White in AMC’s Breaking Bad, and has since appeared on The Mindy Project and Portlandia. She also co-starred with Doctor Who’s David Tennant in Gracepoint, Fox’s American remake of U.K. hit Broadchurch.

Robin Weigert (Calamity Jane)
The former New York City stage actress appeared in Charlie Kaufman’s directorial film debut Synecdoche, New York as well as TV shows, including Law & Order, Grey’s Anatomy and Sons of Anarchy. Now, she can be seen in the Netflix series Jessica Jones.

John Hawkes (Sol Star)
The character actor has moved between comedy (Eastbound & Down) and drama (Lost) on TV, and was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actor in 2011 for Winter’s Bone.

Kim Dickens (Joanie Stubbs)
After playing a madam on Deadwood, Dickens got roles in HBO’s Treme and House of Cards as well as supporting turns in movies, including House of Sand and Fog and Gone Girl. She currently stars in AMC’s Walking Dead spinoff Fear the Walking Dead.
